Prof. Kyogu Lee Among TIME’s 100 Most Influential in AI
Prof. Kyogu Lee from Graduate School of Convergence Science and Technology has been named one of TIME's “100 Most Influential People in AI in 2024” in the “Shapers” category. He founded Superton, known for its AI voice synthesis technology that recreates the voices of late singers like Kim Kwang-seok.
A Legacy Carved in Language Honoring Prof. Lee Sung-nyong
The exhibition "As High and Steadfast as a Mountain" honors Prof. Lee Sung-nyong, a pioneer of modern Korean linguistics, and will remain open until the end of October on the 1st floor of Kwanjeong Library. The exhibition highlights his significant contributions to the scientific study of the Korean language.
A Critical Pathway: Global Citizenship Education at the Forefront of Education
On September 6, the SNU Education Research Institute hosted its first Overseas Scholar Lecture of 2024 with Prof. Audrey Osler from the Univ. of Leeds. Her lecture, titled "Hope, Justice and Compassion in a Fractured World" focused on Global Citizenship Education.
New Technique for Making Soft Electronics
A research team led by Prof. Yongtaek Hong from the College of Engineering, in collaboration with Prof. Byeongmoon Lee from DGIST, has developed a new printing technique for the quick and easy creation of high-performance soft electronic devices and circuits. Their findings were published in Nature Communications.
